What is an AdvocacyDenver webinar?

AdvocacyDenver offers webinars addressing self-advocacy and the world of developmental and intellectual disabilities. Webinars are online interactive seminars that will allow AdvocacyDenver to share valuable information with interested individuals anywhere throughout the world. To join a live webinar, all you need is a computer (with a microphone and sound or a telephone) and an internet connection!

AdvocacyDenver will be offering both private and public webinars. Anyone is eligible to attend either.

How can I get the latest on AdvocacyDenver webinars?

Sign up online to receive notices for all of our webinars. News about upcoming webinars will also be shared through the eVoice and our calendar.

How does a private webinar work?

All private webinars will be indicated in their announcements (flyers, webpage, etc). If you are interested in attending a private webinar you must submit electronic payment by visiting our Online Giving web page and completing a payment for the particular webinar. Or you may send a check and your e-mail information to Maddie Snyder at our office location. Once we receive your payment, we will e-mail you with a link to register for the webinar.

If you miss the private webinar, please contact Catherine Strode. We will be able to provide you with the recorded webinar.

All public webinars will be posted on our website. Simply click the location link and fill out the appropriate registration information sent to you via e-mail and you will be granted access to the webinar on the designated date and time.

Can I participate in the webinar?

Each webinar will end with a Q & A session. Audience members may message the presenters with questions relevant to the topic matter. Presenters may respond to questions publicly or privately.

To learn more about how you can set up your audio/speaking preferences (through a microphone-speaker connection or by calling a toll-free number—long distances charges apply as normal) check out this powerpoint from our webinar provider, GoToWebinar.

What if I miss a live webinar?

Not a problem! Webinar recordings and resources are available in our Video Collection.

If you have any questions or need technical support, please contact Catherine Strode via e-mail or at 303.831.7733.
