By Giving, You Nurture the Impulse to Achieve.

You’re protecting a foundational civil right. When we deny those we deem as  lesser than us access to what all citizens are guaranteed to enjoy, we diminish liberty for all. Bigotry is still bigotry — even when we do it with sweet intentions. AdvocacyDenver fights for our clients’ rights with a fundamental understanding that our right to pursue life and liberty is not conditional on someone else’s view of our capabilities or intelligence. By giving, you protect freedom.

By Giving, You Protect Freedom.

You know it’s right. At the end of the day, you will know that your contribution to AdvocacyDenver did something not only undeniably positive, but uniquely effective, for people with developmental disabilities. Right in your home state. Right in your neighborhood. And just plain right.

How Can You Give?

Individual, corporate gifts and foundation grants can be restricted to a  specific area of focus, such as advocacy or education — or they may be unrestricted, which  allows AdvocacyDenver to target support to a specific program, service, or area of greatest  need. All gifts advance the mission to help our clients and their families live life as fully as  possible.

Individual Giving:

Individual donors often choose to support our advocacy work based on personal experiences in their own lives, or in the lives of family or friends. Donations from individuals are accepted in any amount, and may come in the form of a single gift, or as ongoing giving. Donors may also consider deferred gifts made either by an individual or family through a bequest, charitable trust, charitable gift annuity, retirement plan assets, life insurance or retained life estate.

You can make a gift today by donating online or by contacting Stacey Gottlieb, sgottlieb@advocacydenver.org, 303.831.7733 ext. 29.

Corporate Giving:

Beyond the benefits of generating unquestionable goodwill for your brand, your gift will secure necessary services for our clients, while providing Colorado decision-makers with recommendations to create better policy. Many opportunities allow private businesses, public corporations and organizations to support AdvocacyDenver. They include outright financial support, cause-related marketing, employee giving, corporate matching programs, and in-kind gifts to help underwrite and reduce organization expenses.

Foundation Grants:

Many of AdvocacyDenver’s greatest achievements have been made possible by support from other funding groups. Grants from non-profit, corporate, and family foundations allow AdvocacyDenver to continue our person-to-person direct advocacy, relevant programming, and ongoing legislative efforts. Foundation support may take many forms, including: outright donations based on an application, public and private foundations issuing specific program grants, and organization-wide challenge grants.
