Policy Advocacy

AdvocacyDenver leverages decades of staff expertise and knowledge to inform lawmakers about the impact of legislation on individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, advocate for (or against) key bills and enlist influencers to grow awareness and make positive change in Colorado’s policy arenas.

This work spans public benefits, health care, education, immigration and criminal justice issues. Through our individual work, we find the courage and authority to stand up for this vulnerable population.
