Rocky Mountain Human Services

Community Centered Board, serving the City and County of Denver, providing supports for children and adults with intellectual and developmental delays and disabilities. The Family Support Services Program offers service coordination to assist with accessing the program and other resources, resource pamphlet of community agencies and educational workshops. Limited financial assistance is available for such things as: respite care, professional services, medical and dental care, transportation, assistive technology, home modifications and parent and sibling support.

Colorado Disability Benefits Support Program (DBS)

DBS provides SSA disability program application assistance for eligible individuals living in the Denver metro area between the ages of 17.5 and 65 years old. DBS provides training and technical assistance on applying for SSA disability programs. Please note: There may be a waiting period for direct SSA application assistance.

Social Security Disability Benefit Eligibility

The Social Security Administration provides a simple web-based tool to see if an applicant might be eligible for benefits from any of the programs they administer. This tool will provide eligibility information based on the answers given by an applicant; however, it is not an application for benefits.

Denver Metro Community Parent Resource Center

The Denver-Metro Community Parent Resource Center informs and empowers low-income, culturally and linguistically diverse families as advocates for their children with disabilities, age birth to 26, to achieve meaningful participation in their schools and communities in the Denver Metro area. Present trainings to parents and professionals as well as provide parent advising via email, telephone or face-to-face. Spanish translation is available. All services are free of charge.
