Coming up in the December issue of POLICY PERSPECTIVE, AdvocacyDenver’s Policy and Outreach Specialist Catherine Strode interviews the President and CEO of Memorial Hospital-UCHealth, George Hayes. Colorado Gives Day – Give where you live!
December 9, thousands across Colorado will rally to support their favorite nonprofits for Colorado Gives Day (CGD). As one of the nonprofits that are eligible to receive CGD funds, we’d like to encourage you to support our work on this special day.
For the first time ever, the Community First Foundation and FirstBank have created a $1 million dollar incentive fund for donors. AdvocacyDenver will get a share of the $1 million in proportion to the total donations made on Colorado Gives Day, which means your donation can go farther than ever before.
It means more resources to help people with disabilities and their families meet an array of critical challenges—from education to health care to housing and beyond. It means more helping hands, more fuel for our programs. It means being there when Coloradans with disabilities call out for our help.
Two Things You Can Do:
- Give on Dec. 9
Visit our Colorado Gives Day page and donate. Only donations made through CGD count toward our eligibility for the incentive fund. (You can make a reminder to donate on the big day or head online now to schedule your donation for Dec. 9.) - Share
