The Workforce Centers provide assistance with job placement, training, and access to computers for job searches. Some centers are equipped with various assistive technologies that assist with the job search process.

SWAP provides job readiness training, job search assistance, job development, placement and coaching and social skills training.

Provides employment services, training and post-secondary education support for people with mental illness. Formerly known as the Mental Health Center of Denver 2 Succeed Program.

Provide counseling to those receiving SSI/SSDI benefits who would like to return to work without disrupting their benefits. Counseling may include referral to a Ticket to Work program and developing a PASS plan.

Goodwill provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities to learn specific, job-related skills in bike maintenance, janitorial, and electronics recycling. Also, prevocational services for individuals with developmental disabilities, prevocational services delivered in American Sign Language (ASL) for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, facility-based day programs, community-based day programs, Supported Employment Group and Individual Placement, “Discovery” opportunities for real-work experiences.

Provide job search and development services for people with documented disabilities to help secure and maintain employment. Employment is the key issue addressed by vocational rehabilitation but DVR also refers client for independent living support. Educational needs related to employment are secondary. Youth in special education can be enrolled in vocational rehabilitation before they graduate from high school.

Goodwill’s trained on-site facilitator works with the students to foster career awareness and school connection through classroom instruction and a variety of support programs.
