VSA Arts of Colorado/Access Gallery

VSA provides summer and year round art based programming for youth and adults with disabilities. Stipends and wages may be available on a limited basis. Access Gallery also displays the work of local artists with disabilities.

Mile High Youth Corps

Provide outdoor, labor-intensive jobs. Programs include YouthBuild for out of school youth, Energy and Water Conservation Program, Land Preservation and Americorps Program. Hours can be long and work is physical in nature. No disability specific services are offered.

Goodwill Industries

Goodwill services include Deaf Services, Pre-Vocational Services, Enclaves (group work program), Community Integrated Employment and Supported Living Services and Leisure Activities. Goodwill provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities to learn specific, job-related skills in bike maintenance, janitorial, and electronics recycling. Also, prevocational services for individuals with developmental disabilities, prevocational services delivered in American Sign Language (ASL) for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, facility-based day programs, community-based day programs, Supported Employment Group and Individual Placement, “Discovery” opportunities for real-work experiences.
