Provides workshops and classes that are geared towards teenage girls’ health, empowerment and well-being. Programs are offered in summer and during the school year. No specific programming for youth with disabilities; work to include youth with disabilities in the program. The building is wheelchair accessible.

Denver Parks and Recreation – Inclusive & Adaptive Recreation Programs

Adaptive Recreation — Denver Parks & Recreation (DPR) offers therapeutic programs for people with disabilities at any age. Through numerous leisure activities, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRS) and other DPR team members create opportunities to improve quality of life, foster independence and boost self-esteem. A variety of adapted recreational activities are offered to people with disabilities including Special Olympics, horseback riding, skiing, etc. TRAC is also available to help people with disabilities integrate into standard recreation center programs.

Community Centered Board, serving the City and County of Denver, providing supports for children and adults with intellectual and developmental delays and disabilities. The Family Support Services Program offers service coordination to assist with accessing the program and other resources, resource pamphlet of community agencies and educational workshops.
