RMIAN works to ensure equal access to justice through the following programs: detention program, children’s program, social service project, human trafficking project, advocacy and education.
Provide referral for low-income individuals to legal information and resources. Website has links to low cost legal help, legal clinics, self help information, etc.
Program provides assessment and treatment for children who have been abused, neglected or witnessed violence. Counseling services can be tailored to meet the needs of youth with cognitive disabilities. Education and training programs for parents are also available.
VORP provides restorative justice and victim-offender mediation
Enforcement agency for Title II of the ADA which covers state and local governments; may be appropriate to contact regarding broader ADA issues in relation to accessing programs of local governments.
