Educational Opportunity Center

The center offers assistance with financial aid, including loans, scholarships and FAFSA. They also provide career and education planning, assistance with the college application process and support for youth who have dropped out of school and want to further their education.

College Living Experience

Youth can receive support for enrollment in post secondary education, independent living skills training (including social skills, financial management, etc.) and tutoring. Services are tailored to each youth’s specific needs. Youth live in apartments located in central Denver (apartment rental fee not included in contract).

AVID (Achievement Via Individual Determination)

AVID is a college prep program that assists and supports students to take on more challenging coursework and provides training in study skills, critical thinking and enrichment activities. No specific programming for youth with disabilities.

Future Centers: Denver Scholarship Foundation

Provides career exploration, college prep and scholarship application assistance to high school students interested in pursuing college. Denver Scholarship Fund scholarships are also available to qualifying students. Staff is sensitive to specific barriers and knowledgeable of resources for students with disabilities wanting to go to college.
