Parents Encouraging Parents (PEP)

PEP is a two and a half day conference. The Colorado Department of Education pays for all participant meals (excluding Friday evening) and lodging. The purpose of this conference is to bring parents and other professionals together, allowing them an opportunity to share ideas, discuss concerns, celebrate successes, and obtain information relating to parenting, educating and supporting a child with a disability.

CHARG Resource Center

CHARG runs their Heartland Clinic for outpatient services for adults with major mental illness. They also run a Drop-In Center with a variety of social and health services and advocacy support and information. Drop-In Center is located at 920 Emerson Street in Denver. Individual must verify that they are in treatment to continue to use resources at the drop-in center. Homeless Outreach: PATH is also a program available through CHARG to support homeless adults struggling with mental illness.
